Learn some new skills for summer!
Get ready for the season of outdoor adventures with a free, hands-on evening workshop focused on essential rope and knot skills. Led by nature guide Andrew from White Wolf Wildlife, this beginner-friendly session will teach you practical knots and rope techniques for summer hiking, canoeing, camping, or simply spending more time in nature.
You’ll learn how to:
— Secure a tarp or shelter in changing weather Tie down gear or a kayak safely.
— Choose the right knot for the task Make simple camp furniture using lashings.
— Care for and store your ropes for long-term use We’ll practice 5–7 useful knots, learn some rigging tips, and try a few mini challenges to test your new skills.
All materials are provided, and participants will leave with a printed knot guide to take home.
