Welcome to a primeval world, after the ice…
Have you ever wanted to imagine what life would have been like during the stone age in Scandinavia? To journey back to a time of nomadic hunter-gatherer bands, when one survived by having an intimate knowledge of the land and all living things growing, crawling, swimming, walking and flying. A world of beauty and magic. A world of danger and mystery.
On the 3rd of November, from 17:00 to 20:00, Biotopia will host a roleplaying game set in a fictionalized past of Scandinavia. Participants will take on the roles of prehistoric hunter-gatherers that try to survive in a hostile new world.
What is a roleplaying game?
Roleplaying games could be described as cooperative storytelling, where one plays with imagination rather than a computer or a board. One player takes on the role of Game master/Storyteller, who controls the world, while the other players create and control characters. One could say that the characters are the protagonists of the story, while the storyteller is the world and its inhabitants that the player-characters interact with.
You are not required to have previous experience with roleplaying games to participate.
