How does flooding affect tropical rainforests? And how does a changing climate impact the hydrological conditions in tropical ecosystems? Brazilian ecologist and National Geographic Explorer, Julia Tavares, is a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University with an interest in these questions. This evening, Julia will be giving a talk about her research on the dynamics of flooding rainforests in the Amazon.
